about

EP of 5 tracks

Bonus items include original cover and internal artwork for sold out CD release and four original photographs

These tracks were all recorded between November 2010 and January 2011 and represent my response in music to the changing landscape and harsh weather conditions experienced here on the Welsh border during that winter. Each track was inspired by visual and audible references in the countryside surrounding our home and they are essentially soundscapes describing what I experienced in sound form - a kind of psychogeography if you like.

I hope you enjoy the journey and thank you for purchasing this download....Mark Walters.

Reviews:

Textura (May 2011) "an engrossing and immersive listen"

Norman Records (March 2011) "This is stuff you can just totally lose yourself in, always with several layers of gently evolving tones and lush textures."
